Traditional Thai Massage

Thai massage is a type of massage in Thai style that involves stretching and deep massage. This form of bodywork is usually performed on the floor, and the client wears comfortable clothes that allow for movement. No oils are used in Thai massage. It is known in Thailand as "nuat phaen boran" (Thai: นวดแผนโบราณ), literally, the ancient-manner massage. Most Thai people simply refer to Thai massage as "nuat phaen thai" (Thai: นวดแผนไทย)

Herbal Thai Massage

Herbal Thai massage combines traditional Thai massage with heated herbal compresses. The compresses are filled with traditional aromatic Thai herbs like sweet basil, plai, kaffir lime, turmeric, camphor, etc. specifically combined to reduce pain and inflammation. This recipe of herbs is certified as an authentic Traditional Thai recipe, which when combined with heat therapy can greatly reduce tension, muscle cramps and fatigue. When steamed by the Therapist, they create a "body tea compress." The fragrant herbal preparation slows the mind and soothes the skin.

Oil Massage

The oil is applied in long sweeping strokes which warm the skin and muscles and prepare the body for deep tissue massage. Once the muscles are warmed, the masseuse will continue with deeper massage, rolling and squeezing the skin and underlying muscles between the hands.

Aloe Vera Treatment

After a day with maybe too much sun, Aloe Vera is exactly what your skin needs. Aloe Vera gel contains over two hundred nutrients and different useful substances, as well as enzymes, minerals, vitamins, polysaccharides and amino acids. Aloe vera gel has been reported to have a protective effect against radiation damage to the skin. Following the administration of Aloe Vera gel, an antioxidant protein, metallothionein, is generated in the skin, which scavenges hydroxyl radicals and prevents suppression of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase in the skin. It reduces the production and release of skin keratinocyte-derived immunosuppressive cytokines such as interleukin-10 (IL-10) and hence prevents UV-induced suppression of delayed type hypersensitivity.

Lactose Massage

Instead of oil, a special refreshing lactose cream is applied in long sweeping strokes which warm the skin and muscles and prepare the body for deep tissue massage. Once the muscles are warmed, the masseuse will continue with deeper massage, rolling and squeezing the skin and underlying muscles between the hands.

Facial Treatment

Perfect if you are stressed or fatigued, a facial treatment will do wonders to you. It begins with a deep cleanse and gentle exfoliation, after which a refreshing mask helps to restore moisture to the outer layer of the facial skin. It is excellent for those with a dry and sensitive skin. The following facial massage relieves tension and increase blood circulation to the face, by massaging along head meridians and acupuncture points, in certain directions which allows the lifting of the skin to reduce wrinkles. It will also stimulate the production of collagen and revitalize the face through the increase in the level of oxygen brought by the increase in the blood circulation.

Body Scrub Treatment

The body scrub exfoliates the skin, sloughing off dead skin cells and rubbing away hard and flaky skin on your body leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, moisturized and soft. An abrasive product is rubbed vigorously, and massaged across and into your skin, and is then rinsed away to reveal a moisturized layer of fresh, clean and smooth skin. A body scrub is a great treatment as it makes you look and feel good. After a body scrub, your skin will feel really soft, smooth and silky; you will feel pampered and energized. It's a great one-stop treatment.
